PBIS and the Way of the Wolf
Positive Behavior Interventions and Support
Ron Watson Middle School students will experience the “Way of the Wolf” as we implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). At Ron Watson, we expect our students to follow the “Way of the Wolf," which includes the following:
- Be Responsible
- Be Respectful
- Be Safe
- Be Excellent
Staff members will be giving Golden Tickets to students who follow the “Way of the Wolf” on campus. Students will use Golden Tickets to purchase items such as front of the line passes, smencils, snack bar items, and dance tickets.
Wolf Rewards
To complement the “Way of the Wolf,” students will receive a “Wolf Rewards Card” every Monday with ten “Wolf Bucks” on each card. Students failing to follow the "Way of the Wolf” will lose a “Wolf Buck." If a student does not have his/her “Wolf Reward Card” and loses his/her “Wolf Buck,” or if a student loses three or more “Wolf Bucks” in a given week, he or she may receive lunch detention. Students who continually save their “Wolf Bucks” AND show excellence in their classroom behavior and expectations may qualify for a field trip at the end of each semester.
